The availability of air is vital for your crops’ root development. Roots need to breathe and an airy substrate results in the production of more root hairs. The oxygen is required to process sugars into energy. Using this energy, the roots can expand and actively supply more nutrients to the rest of your crop.
This is why it is essential that a substrate offers a high air percentage. Any airy substrate provides proper drainage and a continuous air supply.
For this reason, Atami has launched Atami High Porosity Cocos, a substrate that offers the advantages of growing on the high-quality aged, washed, buffered, and adeptly fertilized cocos, with the added benefit of the airiness of perlite. Please increase your watering to match the increased drainage of Atami High Porosity Cocos.

Returns will be accepted for up to 30 days of Customer’s receipt on unworn items. You, as a Customer, are obliged to inform us via email before you return the item, only in the case of:
– Received the wrong item.
– Item arrived not as expected (ie. damaged packaging).
– Item had defects.
– Over delivery time.
– The shipper does not allow the goods to be inspected before payment.
The returned product(s) must be in the original packaging, safety wrapped, undamaged and unworn. This means that the item(s) must be safely packed in a carton box for protection during transport, possibly the same carton used to ship to you as a customer.
