Our main goal when we grow plants, whether in a garden or in a hydroponic system, is to help them thrive and create high yields. Calcium and magnesium are two of the most important secondary macronutrients that are vital for healthy plants. Used in relatively large quantities by plants and therefore important to supplement your plants regularly. These minerals, together with the micronutrients, also contribute to the ionic balance of the plant. Hy-Pro Cal-Mag is great for improving soil plant health and is an essential ingredient for hydroponic nutrient management.
Hy-Pro Cal-Mag provides a precise balance and optimal ratios of calcium, magnesium and iron that are crucial during all growth phases, especially in heavily fruiting plants and fast-flowering annuals. The high content of calcium and magnesium in our formula improves the strength of cell walls and the production of chlorophyll. Hy-Pro Cal-Mag is vital for soft water areas where tap water contains little or no calcium or magnesium. Hy-Pro Cal-Mag is also fortified with a proprietary blend of select trace minerals to maximize yields of fruiting and flowering plant species. Iron, for example, acts as a catalyst for essential reactions in the plant, especially related to metabolism. It must be the correct form of chelated iron. And it must be in the right proportions, in relation to the other nutrients in your reservoir.
HY-PRO Cal-Mag fertilizers are not only supplements for soil plants, but they are also crucial for thriving coconut crops and hydroponic gardens.
Magnesium
Magnesium forms the core of the chlorophyll molecule and is therefore essential for photosynthesis. This makes it an indispensable element for plant development. Magnesium promotes the absorption and transport of phosphorus. It contributes to the storage of sugars in the plant. Magnesium performs the function of an enzyme activator and in fact activates more enzymes than any other nutrient. Magnesium is also used by plants for carbohydrate metabolism and cell membrane stabilization. Magnesium deficiencies result in weak stems, loss of greenness in the oldest leaves and the appearance of yellow and brown spots, even though the leaf veins remain green.
Calcium
Calcium is an essential element required for plant growth and development under both non-stressed and stressed conditions. It fulfills a dual function, because it is not only an important factor for cell wall and membrane stability, but also serves as a second messenger in many developmental and physiological processes, including the response of plants to biotic stress. Calcium adheres to the walls of plant tissues, stabilizes the cell wall and promotes cell wall formation. Calcium is also involved in cell growth and development. It neutralizes toxins in plants and contributes to seed formation. A calcium deficiency causes yellow and brown spots on the leaves. It also slows down plant growth in general.
Application
-When using your substrate repeatedly, always use Hy-pro Cal-Mag
-Mix 2.5 ml per 1 liter of water during growth and flowering.
-Suitable for all plants - both indoors and outdoors.
Shipping & Delivery Times
In principle, we deliver from stock. This means that your order will usually be shipped within 1-2 business days. If a product you ordered is unexpectedly out of stock, we will usually receive your products the next business day from our daily supplier. If the delivery time of (part of) your order deviates significantly from the stated delivery time, we will inform you and you will be given the opportunity to choose a suitable alternative or to cancel (part of) the order of the product in question and have your money refunded immediately.
Returns
Reflection period/returns
It may happen that you want to return an order. Perhaps because you do not like the product or perhaps there is another reason why you do not want the order after all. Whatever the reason, you have the right to cancel your order up to 14 days after receipt without giving a reason. After 14 days, this right expires and returns are no longer possible, we do not make any exceptions for this.
After the return notification, you have another 14 days to return your product. You will then be credited with the full order amount including shipping costs. Only the costs for returning from your home to the webshop are for your own account. These costs vary per package, depending on the weight and dimensions. Consult the website of your carrier for the exact rates. If you use your right of withdrawal, the product must be returned to us with all accessories supplied and - if reasonably possible - in the original condition and unopened packaging. To exercise this right, you can use our return policy. We will then refund the order amount due within 14 days of registering your return, provided that the product has already been returned in good order.
If the product is damaged or the packaging is damaged more than necessary to try the product, we can pass on this reduction in value of the product to you. Therefore, treat the product with care and ensure that it is properly packaged when returning.

Returns will be accepted for up to 30 days of Customer’s receipt on unworn items. You, as a Customer, are obliged to inform us via email before you return the item, only in the case of:
– Received the wrong item.
– Item arrived not as expected (ie. damaged packaging).
– Item had defects.
– Over delivery time.
– The shipper does not allow the goods to be inspected before payment.
The returned product(s) must be in the original packaging, safety wrapped, undamaged and unworn. This means that the item(s) must be safely packed in a carton box for protection during transport, possibly the same carton used to ship to you as a customer.
